The operating unit is one of the key divisions of the Center, since the treatment of almost any tumor in children involves a surgical stage.

The main task of the operating block is to provide specialized surgical oncological care to the child population of the republic using organ-preserving and functionally sparing surgical interventions against the background of intensification of systemic and loco-regional effects.

In recent years, in accordance with global trends, there has been an increase in the complexity of the operations performed here, combined with a gradual increase in the share of minimally invasive interventions.
