Day care department
The day care department treats patients in a compensated condition who do not require round-the-clock medical supervision.
Diagnostic examination, chemotherapy courses using the same drugs that children receive in hospital, replacement, radiation and rehabilitation therapy are carried out here. Treatment in the day care department allows patients to be less exposed to the negative psychological impact of the hospital, avoid nosocomial infections, provides the opportunity to continue their usual way of life, and also leads to a decrease in the cost of treating the underlying disease, which is important for the budget of our country, as well as patients from neighboring countries.
The demand for this form of therapy is steadily increasing. As of 2018, the department’s bed capacity is 60 beds.
